Many centuries ago in the Roman Empire, spider webs were used to promote wound healing. We envisage Spiber™ working in a similar way, closing wounds and protecting growing tissue. Our material can be developed both as a stand-alone 'sheet' and as a scaffold for cells and/or chemical compounds that promote wound healing.
